Nurses

Mrs Lyn Scott (f)

RGN ADV/DIP Lyn is qualified as a Nurse Prescriber and runs our minor illness clinics. Lyn can treat and prescribe (if necessary) for things like ear, nose and throat infections, chest infections, back pain, urinary tract infections, womens' health problems and contraception, etc.

Lyn has minor illness clinics every day (except Thursdays) and appointments are available with her usually on the day or within 48 hours. If you are not sure if Lyn can help you with your problem, please discuss the matter with the reception team who will advise you accordingly.

Lyn also specialises in diabetes and manages our diabetic clinics.

Ask at reception for a list of ailments that Lyn could help you with.  She may be able to save you waiting for the GP!

Mrs Tina Seal (f)

Tina also runs our cervical smear clinics and can provide general contraceptive advice. She also manages the child immunisation clinics.

Ms Janet Joyce (f)

Janet has been a Practice Nurse for 20 years and a Midwife prior to that. She has lots of experience in many fields and has a special interest in asthma and COPD. Janet also enjoys the challenge of healing leg ulcers!!

Janet's passion is that all of our patients are given the same standard of care, whether or not they can attend the surgery. In view of this, Janet visits the housebound patients to keep things like asthma, COPD and diabetes regularly monitored.
