Changing Opening Hours
From w/c 23rd September our regular opening hours are changing. Patients can continue to access GP services via phone which will be answered at our other locations, eConsults, online appointment booking and other online services. Patients are able to be seen at our other surgeries when the Bitterne Park site is not open.
We apologise for any inconvenienceThe Bitterne Park surgery will be open on Mondays from 8am to 6:30pm, and for the remainder of the week from 8am to 1pm.

Available all day every day at Weston Lane and Ladies Walk.
Bitterne Park, all day Monday and then every morning.
When we are very busy there may be a short wait before you are seen.
You should get a flu jab if you have:
► Chronic lung disease including asthma
► Chronic heart disease
► Chronic liver or kidney disease
► Lowered immunity
► Chronic neurological disease
Or if you...
► Are aged 65 or over
► Are, or may be, pregnant
► Look after someone who wouldn’t be able to manage without your help

Is My Prescription Ready?
A high number of calls we receive throughout the day are from patients that are signed up for the Electronic Prescription Service (ePS), asking if their prescription is ready. Repeat prescriptions are processed in 2 working days, and are sent via ePS straight to your nominated pharmacy.
Please contact the Pharmacy directly after 2 working days if you would like confirmation that your prescription is ready for collection.
Please do not phone the surgery.
If you're not already signed up to ePS please speak to your pharmacy.
You can consult with your doctor online, this is called an eConsult. Click on the picture above and it will guide you through the quick and easy process.
eConsults also offer self-help and signposting to free NHS services such as physiotherapy, counselling, and other clinics.
All eConsults will be answered by the end of the next working day.
We cannot accept repeat medication requests through this service.
